Haunting In Derbyshire
Original story from DerbyshireLIVE
A paranormal investigation group says they have captured photographs that show there to be ghost nurses inside a historic Derbyshire building. The group is known as "When Darkness Falls" took the photographs (above and below) a few months back from inside the main hall of the Grand Pavilion in Matlock Bath - a 110-year-old Edwardian building. The group says one of the nurses appears to be standing while the other is sitting down. It is believed the spirits' presence in the picture makes historical sense as the building was once used for soldiers to spend time recuperating from injuries and lodging troops during the First and Second World Wars.
The building was constructed in 1910 to entertain and shelter tourists but was saved 100 years later when the local community stepped up to take ownership after its condition significantly deteriorated.
Kimberley, 33, said: "We went to Matlock Bath a few months ago for an investigation. We walked into the main hall of the building and took some photos.
"It wasn't until we got back home that we saw in one of the first pictures I took of the room that there were two spirits in the picture and they look like nurses. They are really clear.
