Russian Millionaire Spends Over $100,000,000 To Live Forever.

Sergey Young, Russian multimillionaire seeking immortality.

The self-made Russian millionaire, Sergey Young, is investing in what he said will "change the lives of one billion people." He is dumping millions into anti-aging technology through his Longevity Vision Fund. They are researching and developing bionic body parts, 3D organ printing, and the ability to implant a human brain into a robot, creating an "avatar." Eighty years ago, the average lifespan was 43 years old. Today we average somewhere between 75 and 80 years. Sergey hopes to extend that beyond 200 years soon.

Here is their current immortality timeline:

  • 2045 – First brain-to-machine links created

  • 2050 – Rich people able to pay "millions" to upload their minds into robots

  • 2060 – Working- and middle-class people able to afford

  • 2070 – Even low-income people in emerging countries can afford to upload their brains to computers

  • 2080 – Humans no longer die; robot bodies are state-subsidized; people limited to the number of robot bodies they can own

The problem with what they are trying to accomplish is that man is more than his brain. "And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ." - 1 Thessalonians 5:23.

Simply preserving a man's brain only, will not grant him immortality. They only way for a man to preserve his soul is trusting in Jesus Christ. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." - John 3:16.

A man's soul already has immortality. It will live on in either with Jesus in everlasting life or the lake of fire in eternal torment. Humanity had their chance at full immortally of body, soul, and spirit in the garden of Eden. But through the disobedience of Adam by him sinning against God, humanity was plunged into a life of sin. "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" - Romans 5:12.

Is doesn't matter how much money you pour into research and development. Your sin will stop you from the immortality you seek. Humanity will always try to find their way, but no matter how hard you try you can never escape the fact of John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
