Leah Broussard, a physicist at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, is conducting an experiment this summer that she refers to an "oscillation" that would allow to "morrow matter." By firing a beam of subatomic particles down a 50-foot long tunnel, through a powerful magnet, and into an impenetrable wall. If all goes as planned, upon impact, the particles will transform into mirror-image versions of themselves. Leah Broussard hopes to uncover a parallel universe.
